The Portuguese soprano, Sofia Galvão, began her singing studies in the Lisbon, at the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional. She has a degree in singing from the Universidade de Aveiro; she then continued her studies in Italy: she is currently attending the Conservatorio da Novara, a course in Renaissance and Baroque singing with Roberto Balconi. She has attended several master-classes with Saioa Hernandez, Elena Pankratova, Barbara Zanichelli, Susan Waters. Since October 2021, she has regularly attended courses at the Accademia Maghini, during which, through a special audition, she was selected for the solo part of a concert at Back TO Bach Fesival in 2021. |
