The American baritone/tenor singer and voice instructor, David Ferguson, studied at University of Houston (August 2016-May 2020); obtained his Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas (Class of 2025); and later studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig.
As a singer, David Ferguson has been Staff Singer at Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham in Houston, Texas (2016-2019); Former Tenor at Chorus Angelorum (September 2016-December 2019); Staff Singer at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in The Museum District, Houston, Texas (December 2020-July 2023); Chorus member at Houston Grand Opera (September 2022-May 2023); Tenor at Houston Bach Society (since September 2022); and Tenor at The Dallas Opera.
As a voice instructor, David Ferguson has been Private Voice Instructor at Lake Creek High School (August 2021-June 2022); Private Voice Teacher at Clear Springs High School (August 2021-May 2023); Private Voice Instructor at Clear Brook High School (August 2021-May 2023); Private Voice Instructor at Tomball Memorial HS Choir (September 2022-May 2023); Private Voice Instructor at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth, Texas (August 2023-May 2024). He currently lives in Dallas, Texas. |
