The Spanih mezzo-soprano, Jana Corominas, began her musical studies at the age of 5 with the Suzuki method. and completed her professional degree in Singing with Marisa Roca at the Conservatorio Profesional del Liceu in 2020. In 2024, she graduated from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu under the guidance of baritone Joan Martín Royo, with whom, together with Marta Pujol, she has completed the Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the same institution. She is currently pursuing the official Master’s in Lied “Victoria de los Ángeles” at ESMUC. She was a finalist for the 2024 la Salvat Beca Bach. She has been awarded a scholarship to participate in the 2025 edition of Lied the Future, a talent development programme run by the Associació Franz Schubert with the support of Fundación Banco Sabadell and Fundación Ferrer-Salat. She has furthered her vocal training through master-classes, academies and courses with renowned professionals such as Benjamin Appl, Mireia Barrera, Carmen Bustamante, Valerie Guillorit, Marta Infante, Christiane Karg, Emma Kirkby, Sophie Koch, Didier Laclau-Barrère, Eduardo López Banzo, Lluís Vilamajó, Francisco Poyato, Wolfram Rieger, Luciana Serra, and among others.
Jana Corominas regularly collaborates with some of the most important choirs in Catalonia, including the Palau de la Música Chamber Choir, Cor Francesc Valls, Bach Collegium Barcelona and the Bachcelona Akademie choir. She has worked with prominent national and international conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Christoph Siebert, Christoph Prégardien, Lluís Vilamajó, Pere Lluís Biosca, Manel Valdivieso and Mireia Barrera. |
