Ziwei Cen (Soprano)

Born: April 27, ____ - China

The Chinese soprano, Ziwei Cen, studied at Xiamen University in China; and obtained her Master of Music degree from California State University in Northridge (2018-2020). She is currently studies for her DMA degree in Opera Production/Administration at University of Alabama (since 2020), studying under Dr. Susan Williams. Her past roles include Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, Venus in Orphée aux enfers, Brigida in Li sposi per accidente, and Fiordiligi in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte. She was recently seen on the University of Alabama Opera Theatre stage as Morgana in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2021). She currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
