Ensamble Camerus (Vocal & Instrumental Ensemblw)

Founded: 2014 - Buenos Aires, Aregentina as Las Voces de la Usina
Re-named: 2016, as Ensamble Camerus

In October 2014, Alejandro Nuss created and directed Las Voces de la Usina, with members of vast experience and professional performance in different disciplines related to singing and music, in order to deepen the different aspects of voice treatment in chamber music. The group performs regularly at the Usina del Arte, until in the 2016 season it changes its name to Ensamble Camerus to transcend the space that saw it born. Since then has become a vocal and instrumental ensemble with the purpose of addressing repertoires of vocal and symphonic choral music from a chamber perspective. The vocal ensemble varies from 16 to 32 members according to the program to be presented, and its repertoire includes works from Baroque to Romantic; On the other hand, the members of the instrumental ensemble are outstanding soloists and teachers specialized in historical style and interpretation, so they use replicas of period instruments for their performances.
