Ludmila Belobragina (Soprano)

Born: June 15, 1940 - Russia

The Russian soprano, Ludmila Belobragina (Russian: Людмила Васильевна Белобрагина), is Soloist of the All-Union Radio. She was awarded Honored Artist of the RSFSR on June 21, 1979.

In addition to J.S. Bach's recordings listed below, Ludmila Belobragina recorded L.v. Beethoven's Mass in C major, Op.86 with All-Union Radio Large Chorus and Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky; Igor Stravinsky's Mavra with Moscow Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky (Melodiya/HMV, 1973); George Frideric Handel's Ode for St. Cecilia's Day, HWV 76 with Choir of Surrey Opera Company and Ensemble Classic conducted by Alexander Kantorov (1989); Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky's Ode to joy cantata with U.S.S.R. Radio and TV Large Chorus and Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Simonov (Melodiya, 1980), and more.
