Maximilan Vogler (Tenor)

Born: June 12, 1992 - Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The young German tenor, Maximilian Vogler, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree from the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where he studied with Gerhild Romberger (2012-2016). Since 2016 he has been continuing his studies for Master of Music degree with Werner Güra at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). Master-classes with Margreet Honig, Jard van Nes, Benjamin Appl, Robert Holl, Graham Johnson, Julius Drake, David Selig and Malcolm Martineau have further shaped his artistic development.

Maximilian Vogler is frequently appearing as a soloist throughout all of Germany and Switzerland. He worked with the Jenaer Philharmonie, Southwest-German Philharmonic, Baroque Orchestras La Stagione Frankfurt, L'Arco Hannover, La Banda Augsburg, Karlsruher Barockorchester, and Pizzicanti Basel, as well as Barockorchester L'arpa festante. He is maintaining several chamber music ensembles and has for several years been giving particular attention to the Lied. In March 2020 he will debut as a solist at Salzburg Opera in a production of Haydn's Creation.

As an experienced ensemble singer Maximilian Vogler has been part of the following groups: Vocalensemble Rastatt (Director: Holger Speck), Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius), Europäischen Vokalsolisten, Kölner Akademie (Director: Michael Willens), Ensemble Cantissimo and Origen Ensemble Vocal. Concert tours have led him through all of Europe, to Japan, China, South-Korea, Israel, Columbia and the USA. He currently lives in Zürich, Switzerland
