Christiana Nobach (Contralto)

Born: Germany

The German musicologist and alto singer, Christiana Nobach, studied musicology at the University of Göttingen. Her book on the George Onslow (1784-1853), published in 1985 by Bärenreiter, is still the only book about this relatively unknown composer. She also wrote the books "Streichinstrumente" (Metzler, 2002) and "100 Jahre Kantorei Kirchditmold" (Kassel: Boxan, 2011). She is a member of the board of Stiftung Kantorat Kirchditmold in Kassel and sings with them occasionally as an alto.
