Thomas Laske (Baritone)

Born: Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The German baritone, Thomas Laske, received his earliest musical training with the Stuttgart Hymnus Chorknaben (a boys’ church choir), and wen on in 1990 to study sound and picture technology at the Academy of Music in Düsseldorf. He also studied singing under Professor Brigitte Dürrler and Lied interpretation under Professor Ria Götze. He attended master-classes with Elio Battaglia, Otto Edelmann, John Shirley-Quirk, Andreas Schmidt, Wolfgang Schöne and Edith Wiens.

Thomas Laske has won several prizes at competitions and performed regularly at concerts at home and abroad. Since 1999-2000 he has been a member of the ensemble at the North Rhine-Westphalia Schiller Theater in Gelsenkirchen and Wuppertal.
