Susan Krout (Soprano)

Born: USA

The American soprano, Suan Krout-Lyons, ontained her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Master of Arts degree in Church Music, both from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois.

Susan Krout is an active performer, vocal instructor and church musician. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the McDowell Artists Association and Grace Lutheran Church. Currently, she is a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and the Grant Park Festival chorus. Among other activities, she is a frequent performer in solo and small ensembles for concerts, recordings, tours and television appearances. Currently, she is the minister of music at Christ Episcopal Church, and teaches applied voice at Concordia University Chicago.
