Ici je me trouve, ô père de toutes les grâces
vor deinem Thron mit Sündenlast beladen,
Devant ton trône chargé de mes péchés,
mein eigen Herz schilt mich ins Angesicht,
Mon propre cœur me gronde en face de toi,
doch schrei ich noch: Ach Gott, verstoß mich nicht!
Mais je pleure encore : Ah, Dieu, ne me rejette pas !

Hier lieg ich nun, mein Gott, zu deinen Füßen,
Ici je me trouve, mon Dieu, à tes pieds,
ach lasse mich der süssen Huld geniessen,
Ah, laisse-moi profiter de la douce grâce,
mit welcher du die Deinen oft erquickst,
Avec laquelle tu réjouis souvent les tiens,
und ihnen Licht, Trost, Freud und Kraft zuschickst.
Et leur donne la lumière, la foi, la joie et la force.
