Motet BWV 229
Komm, Jesu, Komm!
Italian Translation
Motetto BWV 229 - Vieni, Gesù, vieni

Occasione: occasione imprecisata

Original German Text

Italian Translation

Coro I/II: S A T B

1

Komm, Jesu, komm,
Mein Leib ist müde,
Die Kraft verschwindt je mehr und mehr,
Ich sehne mich
Nach deinem Friede;
Der saure Weg wird mir zu schwer!
Komm, ich will mich dir ergeben;
Du bist der rechte Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben.

Vieni, Gesù, vieni,
il mio corpo è stanco,
le mie forze svaniscono lentamente,
aspiro
alla tua pace;
il duro cammino diventa troppo difficile per me!
Vieni, vieni, voglio abbandonarmi a te;
tu sei la vera via, la verità e la vita.

Coro I/II: S A T B

2

Drum schließ ich mich in deine Hände
Und sage, Welt, zu guter Nacht!
Eilt gleich mein Lebenslauf zu Ende,
Ist doch der Geist wohl angebracht.
Er soll bei seinem Schöpfer schweben,
Weil Jesus ist und bleibt
Der wahre Weg zum Leben.

Mi metto dunque nelle tua mani
e dico: mondo, buonanotte!
Anche se la mia vita volge velocemente alla fine,
la mia anima è comunque ben preparata,
s'innalzerà fino al suo Creatore,
poiché Gesù è e resta
la vera via verso la vita.
