Composed	Composed by Sebastian Knüpfer in Leipzig, 1673 Performed by J.S. Bach in Leipzig c1746-1747 For his revival of the work, J.S. Bach adapted it to his own performance conventions. He reinforced the voices of the 1^st choir with 4 stringed instruments, and those of the 2^nd choir with 4 wind instruments, also adding a continuo part consisting of an organ, a harpsichord and a violone.
