Lot: 2 Daum Art Glass Musician Plates, 20^th C. France

Description:

Lot: 2 Limited Edition Daum Art Glass Composer/Musician Collectors Plates: Beethoven & Bach, 20th C. France. Lot includes: 1 Beethoven Plate (amethyst glass) & 1 Bach Plate (emerald green glass). The middle of each colorless glass plate is applied with a colored glass medallion cast in low relief with the portrait of a composer, their name and dates of birth/death. The plates were cast in editions of 2000. The underside of the glass plates have a smooth frosted finish and are signed along the side of the base rim: "Daum 1970 Made in France" and "Daum Made in France" along with edition number: "616/2000" (Bach) and "765/2000" (Beethoven).

Measures:

Each: 9-1/2" Diameter, 1" Deep. Total Weight: 6lbs.
