Paul Steiniger (Steininger) (Composer)

Paul Steiniger [Steininger] was a German composer and organist. From 1719, he served as organist at the Marienkirche in Nürnberg, succeeding Cornelius Heinrich Dretzel. He composed an oratorio-passsion to the famous and popular text of Barthold Heinrich Brockes and performed it in Nürnberg c1750.
