Arthur Harris (Composer, Arranger)

Born: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

The American composer and arranger, Arthur Harris, studied at an early age with Stefan Wolpe. He also studied at Yale with Paul Hindemith.

Arthur Harris has written for Broadway productions and jazz groups as well as for the concert stage, and made numerous arrangements. Among his original compositions: Diversion for Wind Quartet (1955).
