Gottlieb Benjamin Geier was a German church musician. He studied theology at Leipzig University and was also a pupil of J.S. Bach in Leipzig between 1732 and 1737, after which he worked as Kantor in his native town, first at the Annenkirche, and from 1741 at the Nikolaikirche. |
