Martin Traugott Wilhelm Blumner was a German conductor and composer. Son of physician, he studied during his high school time in Neustrelitz piano, organ and music theory and received there concert-master Göpfert. Since 1845 he studied theology and philosophy, later mathematics and natural sciences in Berlin, and at the same time was a member of the Berliner Singakademie. In 1847 he received Bachelor of Music as a pupil of Siegfried Dehn. |
