Dezső d'Antalffy-Zsiross (Composer, Arranger)

Born: July 24, 1885, Nagybecskerek, Hungary
Died: April 29, 1945, Monticello

Hungarian organist and composer, Dezső d'Antalffy-Zsiross [Antalffy-Zsiross], studied with, among others Max Reger, Karl Straube and Marco Enrico Bossi.

In Budapest, besides being the resident organist of the Saint Stephen's Basilica, Dezső d'Antalffy-Zsiross also taught organ at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. He later moved to the USA where he worked as the organist of Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center, and as the organist of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
