Man halte nur ein wenig stille,
Wenn sich die Kreuzesstunde naht,
Denn unsres Gottes Gnadenwille
Verlässt uns nie mit Rat und Tat.
Gott, der die Auserwählten kennt,
Gott, der sich uns ein Vater nennt,
Wird endlich allen Kummer wenden
