Solang ein Gott im Himmel lebt
Und über alle Wolken schwebt,
Wird solche Marter währen:
Es wird sie plagen Kält und Hitz,
Angst, Hunger, Schrecken, Feu'r und Blitz
Und sie doch nicht verzehren.
Denn wird sich enden diese Pein,
Wenn Gott nicht mehr wird ewig sein.
