History & Mission:

The Bach Festival at St. Luke's began at St. Luke's in 1977 under the direction of Mr. Edward D. Anderson, then Choral Director at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Professor Emeritus, Colorado State University. It has had a rich tradition of providing major concerts featuring St. Luke's Phelps Organ, Chamber Ensembles, Choirs, Solo Musicians and Young Musicians. The Bach Festival grew out of a dream to provide quality concerts as an outreach of St. Luke's Church and a gift to the community.
