History & Mission: |
The biennial Bach Festival of Charleston is dedicated to celebrating the music of one of the greatest composers ever to live.
The 2013 Festival will be held Friday, March 1, through Sunday, March 3, 2013, at historic First (Scots) Presbyterian Church. It will include vocal and instrumental ensembles in a chamber concert; a candelight program featuring five organ concerti; and a final concert in which a fifty-five voice chorus directed by renowned conductor Stephen Stubbs will present J.S. Bach's great Magnificat (BWV 243). |
