Marietta Zumbült (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Marietta Zumbült, commenced her opera studies at the Folkwang College in Essen in 1986 and continued them in Hannover from 1988, graduating in 1993 with he opera diploma. She took master-classes with Professors Judith Beckmann and Ingeborg Most and was awarded the scholarship of the Richard-Wagner-Verband in 1988.

Marietta Zumbült was a guest singer at the Hildesheim City Theatre from 1991 to 1992, and since March 1993 has had an engagement at the Brandenburg Theatre as a lyrical soprano, with roles such as Pamina and Anna Reich.
