Marja Weyrauch (Soprano)

Born: Göttingen, Germany

The German soprano, Marja Weyrauch, received since 1999 singing lessons with Matthias Gerchen in Hannover, and before 2002 she started singing studies at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen with Harry van der Kamp and Susanne Schlegel. She attended master-classes with Stephen Stubbs and Margret Honig.

Marja Weyrauch has concerted at her homeland and abroad with various ensembles for early music, eg Weser-Renaissance Bremen, Bremer Barock Consort, Barockorchester L’arpa festante, La Stravaganza Köln, Ensemble Musica Baltica and Boston Early Music Festival and participated in 2004 and 2007 in international CD productions.
