Warsaw Chamber Opera (Choir)

Founded: 1961 - Warsaw, Poland

The Warsaw Chamber Opera (= WCO) was founded in 1961. Among its successful productions, are to be mentioned Haydn's La Canterina and Lo Speziale, W.A. Mozart's Bastiano e Bastiana and La Pinta Giardiniera, Marcello da Capua's Le Nozze di A more e di Psiche, Paisiello's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Monteverdi's Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda and Ii Ballo delle Ingrate.

All the above performances have brought WCO. great consents both of critic and audience. Stefan Sutkowski is the present (1984) music director of the WCO.
