Anna Stolarczyk (Soprano)

Born: 1980 - Rabka, Southern Poland

The Olish soprano, Anna Stolarczyk, began her vocal studies at age 18 at the Cracow Conservatory in the class of Ewa Kowalczyk. In 2001 she enrolled at the National Conservatory of Music in Krakow, where she studied with this same teacher. During her studies, many opportunities for first professional experiences were presented to her. She sang on the stage of the Krakow Opera soloist roles in the following shows: Au pays de Csardas by Johann Strauss and Emmerich Kalman (role Safi), Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart (role Pamina), Die Fledermaus (as Rosalinde). She began to perform on the stage of the Philharmonie de Cracovie as soprano soloist in the W.A. Mozart's Coronation Mass conducted by Boguslaw Grzybek.

For the company "TABERNA LIBRA" founded by Polish actor Stanislaw Dembski, Anna Stolarczyk sang recitals with a wide range of Polish songs by Frédéric Chopin, Moniuszko, Paderewski and Szymanowski. In November 2004, as a result of competition, she was chosen from among students of higher conservatories of Poland to sing the soprano solo in "Seven gates of Jerusalem" by Krzysztof Penderecki, under the baon of the composer.

Since December 2004, Anna Stolarczyk has participated in productions of the Opera House of Krakow (Norina in "Don Pasquale" by Donizetti, soprano solo in the "Stabat Mater" by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Zaida in scenic version of Zaide by W.A. Mozart). She actively participated in master-classes given by teachers of the Bach Academy of Stuttgart (soprano solo in J.S. Bach;s Mass in B minor BWV 232), the workshop "technical and interpretation" of Professor Ryszard Karczykowski, as well as master-classes of Marcin Habela in which she is currently perfecting in professional class at the Music Conservatory of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), while continuing her singing activities and concerts.

Since April 2006, Anna Stolarczyk works for the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, participating in projects and tours in Europe and the world, she deepens his artistic experience under the direction of Michel Corboz. In December 2006 she sang as a soprano solo in Requiem by W.A. Mozart conducted by Nicolas Farine and in January 2007, under the baton of Guillaume Tourniaire she performed as a soloist in La Damoiselle élue by C. Debussy. In collaboration with the French pianist Solveig Breger, she gave recitals of French melodies, Polish songs, German Lieder and arias as lyric soprano from the operatic repertoire.
