The American soprano, Sandra Simon, enjoys a uniquely varied career including opera, oratorio, concert, and musical theater. Last season’s diverse roles included Galatea in Rameau’s Pygmalion and Euridice in Monteverdi’s Orfeo with Opera Atelier of Toronto, and Violet Hilton in Russell and Kriegerís Side Show at the Cleveland Play House.
Sandra Simon is a principal soprano soloist with Apollo’s Fire, the Cleveland Baroque Orchestra, and has appeared with Tafelmusik of Toronto, The American Bach Project and Ex Machina Antique Theater of Milwaukee, The Baldwin-Wallace Bach Festival in Cleveland, Musicopia of San Antonio, the Mosart Series at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Chautauqua Institution in New York, Olde Friends of Baltimore, and is an associate artist with the Cleveland Opera. Recently she traveled to the Far East with Opera Atelier and has spent many years performing across the USA in regional professional theaters.
Sandra Simon has recorded for Eclectra and National Public Radio.
