Camerata Silesia (Chamber Choir)
Founded: 1990 - Poland
Camerata Silesia was founded in 1990 by Anna Szostak, and very quickly became the most famous ensemble interpreting the neo-classic repertoire and the repertoire of the 20th century. The ensemble put emphasis on the art of producing of the sound, which suits to re-create style of the Baroque, and on developing exceptional technical possibilities which can convey successfully the parts of the modern music.
The Camerata Silesia has already recorded 11 CD's, some of which constitute the most important recordings of early music in Poland.
