The American pianist, Janet E. Seitzer, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania (1981); her Master of Music degree in Piano from Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore (1983); and her DMA from Peabody Conservatory of Music (1986). Thesis: The Solo Piano Works of Jack Beeson. In 1977, at age 17, while still a student at West Chester State College, she won a piano competition in Wilmington, Delaware.
