The German conductor, Martin Schirrmeister, studied from 1956 flute and gamba in Stuttgart and Basel.

Martin Schirrmeister is full-time director of the Musikschule in Bad Schönborn. Except the Kammerchor Oberaspach, Martin Schirrmeister leads the Kammerchor Bruchsal, the Werkschor of the company SAP in Walldorf, the Kirchenchor in Forst and various ensembles at the Musikschule.
