Rolls Voice (Vocal Ensemble)

Rolls Voice was founded in 2003 at the Musikgymnasium as an octet: Leni Reißmann and Jacqueline Nachbaur - sopranos, Veronika Dünser and Angela Mayr - altos, Christoph Gabathuler - tenor, Martin Lindenthal - tenor and creator of the ensemble, Lothar Burtscher and Johannes Schwendinger - basses. In the following pas-ing-depth, pleasurable, serious and humorous, touching musical work. First was the special love of a-cappella music of the romantic and the popular music of the 20^th Century. In secular programs, the ensemble co-operates with the Gvatter Mirch Trio. In Christmas 2004 they appeared at the Theater am Saumarkt. A first Baroque production was the performance of Membra Jesu Nostri by Dietrich Buxtehude in spring 2005 at Herz Jesu Kirche in Bregenz with Ensemble Innsbaroque. Rolls Voice participated in the theater production Medea and appeared at the Congress of the European Music Schools in 2004 in Graz.
