Barbara Prince (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: October 30, ____ - Richmond, Virginia, USA

The American mezzo-soprano, Barbara Prince, studied at Douglas Southall Freeman in Richmond, Virginiais. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas and East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is a student of Emma Small.

Barbara Prince has appeared as soloist with many Twin Cities area performing arts organizations including the Minnesota Orchestra, Austin Symphony, Rochester Orchestra, Minnesota Chorale, St. Mark’s Music Series, and the Minnetonka Choral Society. She is a member of the acclaimed Berwick Chorus of the Oregon Bach Festival, and Oratory Bach Ensemble (Director: Matthew J. Olson). She is also a section leader with the Minnesota Chorale and at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. She curreently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
