Marc Pontus (Counter-tenor)

Born: November 18, 1967 - Tarbes, France

The French counter-tenor, Marc Pontus, studied at Lycée Marie Curie (TARBES) and Lycée Clémenceau in Montpellier (Class of 1987); singing at Conservatoire National Régional (CNR) de Montpellier (1988-1992; Médaille d'or singing in 1992); and at Centre de musique baroque de Versailles (1992-1994).

Since 2003, Marc Pontus is an ensemble member of Les Elements; Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse (Director: Michel Brun), Scandicus, Les Sacquboutiers; Akadêmia Ensemble (Director: Françoise Lasserre). He currently lives in Toulouse, France.
