Johannes Pohl (Boy Soprano)

Born: July 17, 1983 - Munich, Germany

The German boy soprano, Johannes Pohl, was a member of the Tölzer Knabenchor from 1989 to 1995.

Recordings: Bach cantatas with Gustav Leonhardt (Sony Classical), Wagner: Tannhauser, role of shepard, with Bayerische Staatsoper Orchestra / Zubin Mehta (Arthaus DVD/Video).

Further highlights of career: role of second boy in Mozart's Die Zauberföte, Teatro alla Scala di Milano/Riccardo Muti (December 1995).
