Louis-Pierre Patron (Baritone)

Born: France

The French baritone, Louis-Pierre Patron, studied first classical guitar; then joined the classical singing class at the Conservatoire de Nantes in 2000. He continued his studies at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles from 2002 to 2006 under the guidance of Olivier Schneebeli. In September 2006, he entered the Conservatory of Amsterdam for 4 years of study with David Wilson-Johnson and Valérie Guillorit. This passage in the Netherlands opened for him the doors of Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe), in which he participated in several productions.

Back in France in 2010, Louis-Pierre Patron has worked with various ensembles such as Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon), Correspondances (Director: Sébastien Daucé), Ensemble Aedes (Director: Mathieu Romano), Les Siècles (Director: François-Xavier Roth), Macadam Ensemble (Director: Etienne Ferchaud), and the vocal quartet A'dam. He also sings in duo recitals with the pianist Jérôme Lelong and the organist Augustin Belliot.

Alongside these classical activities, Louis-Pierre Patron sings repertoire of pop-rock music and French chanson, as well as guitar solo or in group with the Flamants Noirs.
