Orchesterverein Götzis (Chamber Orchestra)

Born: 1947 - Götzis, Austria

The Orchesterverein Götzis (= OVG) was founded in 1947 and now has about 30 active members. Since 2004, the musical direction in the hands of the music educator Markus Ellensohn. About 200 works for chamber and symphonic orchestra, from the time of the Renaissance to the present, have been performed. A particular concern of the orchestra is to give young talents the opportunity to solo voice.
