Choir and soloists

The chorus of Bach Consort Nijkerk consists of professional singers and advanced amateur singers. These people contribute to the concerts by outstanding choirs, a cappella or with accompaniment. The soloists have all earned their spurs already in the Baroque works, and especially the works of J.S. Bach. Choir and soloists make it possible by their enthusiasm that Nijkerk can be given its concert format.

Orchestra

The orchestra is organizationally led by cellist Inja Botden: he cares to bring for each concert the necessary Baroque musicians from renowned professional orchestras. The musicians play on old copies of ancient musical instruments, which is done in a responsible historical performance practice./
