Kenji Mizuno (Bass)

Born: Japan

The Japanese bass, Kenji Mizuno, graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.

While active in the field of sacred music such as J.S. Bach's Passions, B-minor Mass (BWV 232), George Frideric Handel's Messiah and German Lieder on one hand, Kenji Mizuno's extensive activities include holding unique recitals performing commissioned new works by Japanese younger composers. With the Bach Collegium Japan, he has frequently appeared in Bach's Cantata Series.
