Capella Barroca de México (Vocal & Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: Mexico City, Mexico

With over 20 years of experience and being the first Mexican ensemble, performing Baroque music on instruments and techniques of the period, the Capella Barroca de México (Founded by Horacio Franco as Cappella Cervantina) is already one of the leading groups in the interpretation of this music in Mexico. The ensemble has has made numerous national and international tours performing at major venues and festivals in the country.

The instrumentalists and singers, who have important and outstanding career as soloists, are specialists in the interpretation of early music and Baroque in Mexico.
