Patrizia Marisaldi (Harpsichord)

Born: Verona, Italy

The Italian harpsichordist, Patrizia Marisaldi, has achieved the diploma in harpsichord (clavicembalo) at the Conservatorio di Milano with Emilia Fadini. She received gold medal at the Conservatory of Toulouse, France, and perfected later her playing at the class of Ton Koopman in Amsterdam.

Patrizia Marisaldi has appeared as a soloist and with chamber ensembles. She recorded for the labels Memories, Paragon, Frequenz, Bongiovanni (J.S. Bach's sonatas for viola da gamba & harpsichord), Stradivarius (Divertimenti, Trii and Concertini for clavicembalo by J. Haydn), and has participated to the recording of the complete concertos of J.S. Bach for harpsichord & strings for the French label Erato, with the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, under to the direction of Ton Koopman. She holds the chair of harpsichord at the Conservatorio di Vicenza.
