Colin Mair (Tenor)

Born: England

The English tenor, Colin [Collin] Mair, studied at The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Nottingham University (1962-1965). During his studies there he sang in many concerts.

Colin Mair has worked as Head of Computing and Design in Royal Navy at Royal Naval College Greenwich (Sepember 1979-Augusat 1986); Account Development Manager for Army, then Local Government at ICL Fujitsu in Slough, Winnersh and Reading (Sepember 1989-June Jun 2002); Deputy at Royal Memorial Chapel in RMA Sandhurst (since 2005).

Colin Mair is also an experienced amateur singer. He was a member of the Monteverdi Choir (Director: John Eliot Gardiner) in 1980-1992. He has also perfformed as a soloist, for example, with Spelthorne Choral Society (March 2005).
