Mitteldeutsche Hofmusik (Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: 2008 - Germany

Their name says it all: The Deutsche Hofmusik (German court music) has musical culture German residences prescribed that in the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries had a significant flowering. The musical director is held Alexander Grychtolik.

In selected and exquisite projects that are designed jointly by Aleksandra and Alexander Grychtolik, the ensemble is exploring and recording the world of courtly vocal and orchestral music by prominent composers such as J.S. Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann and Johann Friedrich Fasch. The mostly solo instrumentation and lively way of playing gives the Deutschen Hofmusik an unmistakable, transparent sound . The ensemble performs regularly at home and abroad and has already been heard on Germany radio stations such as Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) and Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF).
