Motettenchor Stuttgart (Choir)

Founded: 1951 - Stuttgart, Germany

The Motettenchor Stuttgart (= MCS), was created in 1951 by KMD Günter Graulich, who led it successfully from that time to the end of 2001.

The repertoire of the BCS includes big oratorio works and a-cappella programmes from all music eras, as well as performances of unknown compositions. Concerts with guest choirs from all over world and own concert tours in Europe, the USA and Canada made the MCS a firm and recognised component of Stuttgart culture lives. In January 2002 Simon Schorr took over the musical directorship of the choir.
