Born: Germany
The German tenor, Johannes Klügling, acquired his first musical knowledge as a member of boys' choirs like the distinguished Dresdner Kreuzchor and the Wiesbaden boys' choir. Later he received training in solo singing in Windsbach from Karl-Friedrich Beringer and in Munich from Nikolaus Hillebrand, and worked during this period in a variety of vocal ensembles, among others the Kammerchor Stuttgart under Frieder Bernius and in the Gruppe für alte Musik in Munich under Martin Zöbeley.
A number of radio, television and CD productions followed before the tenor became a member of the regular chorus at the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks. Besides this, he also devotes considerable time and attention to concert singing.
