Barbara Klinkhammer (Harpsichord)

Born: Germany

The German harpsichordist, Barbara Klinkhammer, studied music at the University of Cologne and harpsichord at the Music Conservatory of Aachen (instrumental pedagogics certificate, high school artistical leaving exam, recital diploma). She enhanced her studies by participating in various master-classes and private courses held by Johann Sonnleitner in Zürich.

During the last years Barbara Klinkhammer is actively engaged in the keyboard music of J.S. Bach. CD recordings of the Goldberg Variations (BWV 988) (2000) and the Well-Tempered Clavier Vol. I (BWV 846-869) (2003) and Vol. II (BWV 870-893) (2007).

Barbara Klinkhammer lives now in Wesseling near Cologne, Germany.
