Sebastian Klein (Bass)

Born: Freudenberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The German bass, Sebastian Klein, had completed his Abitur, before he studied Protestant Church Music (A-Exam) at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf and has been a Kantor at the Neanderkirche in Düsseldorf since summer 2003. From autumn 2003, he began his studies at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule with Professor Werner Lechte and Martin Ackermann. In the summer of 2008, he was granted the license to complete his training with Boris Statsenko during the reconstruction program. In June 2011 he finished his studies successfully. He is a scholarship holder of the Richard-Wagner-Verband Siegen.

Sebastian Klein has performed at the Thomaskirche Leipzig, Frauenkirche Dresden, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Kölner Philharmonie and Rheingau-Musikfestival. In 2008, he sang under the direction of Professor Helmuth Rilling.
