Nahum Karta (Bass)

Born: Israel

The Isreali bass, Nahum Karta, lives at a Kibbutz.

Nahum Karta was a member of the permanent ensemble of the Isreali Opera since 1968, and has sung major parts in The Bartered Bride, The Barber of Seville, Il Trovatore, and others. In 1971 he appeared at the Abu Gosh Kiryath Yearim Music Festival in Israel, performing J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion (BWV 245).
