Kammerphilharmonie Kaiserpfalz (Chamber Orchestra)
Founded: 1994 Germany
Die Kammerphilharmonie Kaiserpfalz (The Chamber Philharmonic Concert Hall Imperial Palace) (= KPK) came out about ten years ago (1994) from the preceding co-operation of several years of ensemble of instrumental soloists and the Paderborn Domchor under Theodor Holthoff. The common desire of Theodor Holthoff and these professional musicians to work beside the instrumental and choral company also as an independent ensemble, was made possible by the establishment of Philharmonischen Gesellschaft Paderborn in 1988. This chamber orchestra consists of selected professional musicians of the State of Lower Saxony Hannover. They meets several times a year to perform under the direction of Theodor Holthoff.
