Kantorei der Immanuelkirche (Choir)

Founded: 1995 - Munich, Germany

The Kantorei der Immanuelkirche, is a choir of about 65 singers, founded over 16 years ago. The choir is directed by Konstantin Köppelmann, Kantor of the Immanuelgemeinde.

Choral literature: Spiritual Choral Music Gregorian to modern. The choir performs during the scared service motets, cantatas, masses and a cappella literature, and once a year gives concert of of a larger work with soloists and orchestra. A special attention is paid to the performance of rarely heard and forgotten oratorios of music literature from the Baroque and the pre-classical eras.
